First Kill in a LONG TIME
Last night I was cruising along the hi-way, t-topps out with my lady "minding our business " when I began to approach what I knew was a Mustang. The closer I got I then could tell it was a 03/04 grey Cobra. So I said to myself "sweet car".
So as I was slowly passing the Cobra I could barely see through his tint that he was looking at me. Then I could tell that he downshifted his car because I could hear the whine of the supercharger and the front of the car drop.
After pacing each other for a few seconds at about 60mph he hit it and so did I. I stayed in it till about 135 and I had about 3 cars on him. So I slowed way down to see if he wanted to run again and sure enough he did. Now we are at about 40mph and I dropped the car into 2nd and kept my foot on the clutch. I gave him the hit again and I rev matched and poped the clutch and passed him quickly. I let off at about 145 and was at least 4 cars ahead.
I tried to give him the thumbs up but he never looked at me and then he exited the hi-way I wanted to talk to him but that didnt' happen. I don't know what he has done to his car but I know he had an aftermarked hood and exhaust. His car sounded and looked real good. To bad I didn't get to see what all he had done. Sorry for the long post. It's just been awhile since I had the car running

LOL yeah that was an ALL MOTOR RUN. Hell if he took me down if I was spaying, I would have to give him BIG PROPS. Although I'm SURE their are quite a few out there that will hand me my ***.

Have not had this one on the dyno yet. It has the same tune that my old motor had. It's real close but not perfect yet because there are some minor differences in this set up.

Nice kill. I am sure that someone will jump in here and say there is no way you can beat a Cobra, but I have been there and know better. Just like you said, there is always someone faster.

Heck, I could beat a bolt on Cobra........if it wasn't for my crappy driving.

Yeah, it was nice to see someone ask for a mod list before bashing him. Seems like so often some fool jumps in there and starts bashing with their crap talk LS1 hating statements.
