I got my *** handed to me yesterday by a Lexus LS460. Up front, the only things that I have on my 01' A4 TA are Hooker Head Cat back and a Lid. I was on my way home, passing Carrowinds theme park. I passed the traffic light, then picked up to around 60. He came up to my tail so I picked up speed. At that point, all I saw was his car flying up to my passenger side. In an instant, I was at his tail. The bastard rolled down his window, gave me the finger and then pulled off harder.

I can't believe those huge cars are so fast and swift. I really have to start modifying my car.

Where do I begin?

he probably wanted to pass, and then the car he's trying to pass keeps speeding up. that pisses me off, especially on the interstate when every time you move over to pass they speed up.

No, he was trying to race. I was in the left lane and he stayed in the right lane all the time.

4.6-liter V-8 producing about 380 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque with a A8 (8 speed transmission!!). I wouldn't doubt a $85,000 car does it's job well. Most lexus drive so smooth.

Yeah strange loss. That's a 4000+ lb car with 380 hp, so he should be putting maybe 40-50 hp more to the ground, but you probably have 500-600 pounds of weight less than him. Anything can happen though right...

Stock ls1s make 360-380fwhp, are you retarted or do you just want to argue. If his car wasnt stock that would be weird, a modded ls460??? Its possible but I am saying stock to stock a LS1 car would murder a ls460, no question.

ya stock, which doesnt mean **** most of the time. you have no idea what was done to the lexus, who are you to judge that it "shouldnt have happened?" hell it coulda been stock, and 8 speed w/ similair power and better gearing would probably take down an a4 w/ 273s. i dont want to argue, its just your ignorance is amazing when it comes to any car that isnt a camaro.

Your ignorance is amazing. I was just stating that stock to stock the ls1 would win and you had to chime in with "what ifs". And I know **** happens in street racing and Im not questioning whether this happened or not, Im just curious as to why it happened. You really dont know much and it shows.
