Whos your money on?
The civic was work on by local shops, so its definately not a backyard build. The civic is running AEM EMS, aftermarket fuel sustem, 1000cc injectors, built b18 with low compression pistons. And alot of other stuff i dont recall. The race will just be on his daily street tune on 100oct. He is capable of making much more, but the race will be on his low boost which is wants to leave at 350fwhp. Both cars will be on DRs.
Just a thought: why don't you mark out a 1/4 mile on the street (very easy to measure with an odometer - at least close to it), so you have a start and finish line rather than just running it up to a certain mph?
Technically, if you're running to a certain mph, you might launch great and he'll spin his *** off, but then he may hit 120 before you even though he's still behind you, hahaha. Having a start and finish line is always fun, then you can do a few roll races from various mph before or after that. I like to do all different races when I'm out there with someone I haven't raced before just to see who's car is faster, but crossing the finish line in front is where it's at!
Good luck and post results!

Have a safe race at any rate!
350whp 2600-2800 lbs. Looks like a loss for you at your hp level but anything can happen on the streets. If you spin from a dig you will lose. Hook and you might hold him off until about 110 or so.
I'm betting Civic.
The EMS gives him two step capability and IIRC anti-lag, which will greatly reduce the lag factor. GT30Rs are actually pretty responsive turbos in that displacement range anyway.
Traction will be an issue, but again the two step will help with this.
Hit hard off the line. You will at least make him very very nervous. High 300s WHP is no joke and your power is more consistent moment to moment.
