ok so a couple buddies and me are rolling down to a spot wher a bunch of people go to hang out look at each others cars and see if u can get some people to race so its my buddies 94 cobra with heads, cam, 373 gears and all that stuff he says putin down like 340-360 he built the car to put a turbo on it its got like 8 something compression and then me pretty stock just had slp catbak. so we are going down the freeway and he revs at me to race so we say we are going in 3rd gear and taking off on 3 honks i honk it off and we step on it he starts pullin away frm me pretty easy he shuts down around 120 we took off at around 70 he put 2 1/2 cars me so the mod bug started coming after me next day ordered my pacesetter LTs den on friday we are on the freeway again and we have the same race ,3rd gear 3 honks, so i honk it off we both step on it at the same time and we are dead even in 3rd gear then i shift it into 4th and i start inchin away from him i got ahead about a fender den we came up on some traffic so we stopped its been about 2 weeks since the last race and since then i got a couple more goodies

He is not making 340-360rwhp with low compression on a 302. No-way-in-hell

Sounds like he was making around 310rwhp what is he reving the motor to? And please tell me he did not build a stock 302 block...

no im pretty sure its bigger than a 302 im just dont know exactly what it is

thanks omega. I refuse to lose if he does something else 2 his car im coming back with something else on mine. i have nothing against mustangs they are good cars i used to have 1 but i made the switch to ls1 and havnt regretted my decision once

great point. low comp isnt going to give those kinds of #s on a 302.
