I know mine pulls real well in 3rd, not m6 quality but the stall is a huge difference

 

Yeah, I agree with the clean run comment. I was just trying to come up with a reason as to why the TA got out MPHed so bad, since he said he coasted through the traps. If he did, it explains it. If not, then ScreaminRedZ was right and he wouldn't have done so well in the 1/4, but I tend to think it was the coast that hurt that number. I thought the TA was pulling until right at the end, but a great race either way.

Yes 4:56's will be to much gear for spray depending on how much he sprays!!! Trust me. Also you are right when he does his full exhaust(hopefully Longtubes) there is a VERY good chance he is going to beat you N/A. Great rivalry though!!!

 

let me clear things up a bit? there was no thrid gear shift! so the car coast to the finish line! he gets out the hole fast with his mach1 but as the video should show you guys the T/A pulls away and fairly quickly until the computer goes into "**** you I'm not shifting mode" hence the 80mph trap speed, also at the 330 mark the mach1 is at 63mph where the T/A is at 67mph and pulling! so if the car could make a "clean full throttle WOT" pass the mph will be up and the ET's down! yea Mach1nut would be a great race once he gets his full exhaust and tune also! stay tuned!

I also planned on trying out some MT DR's or ET streets so I can fully utilize the Yank 4200 out of the hole!

 

Where you throwing everything at your car for the first 330'? What was your ET
at the 330? I'm hoping 4.50's or better the way you talk about your car. Looks like
a mid 11 second car at best to me.

But...you do keep picking on weak cars. 8.1 @ 84mph is terrible.

 

nope it was only a 5.1@67mph with a 1.9 60ft this is my T/A and not my coupe! and talk is talk especially on the internet you got to take it for what it's worth? the T/A seems to run really good for the minimul mods it has compared to my 306 H/C/I and nitrous'd 90 coupe!

My little 3k TCI stall went 1.6's in my full weight T/A

 

even though the car was not up to par I went to the dfwstangs fall cruise anyway(didn't want to punkout) I had been called out by car's that had me covered by 50-100rwhp but with 5 speed's an inexperience I thought I could get over on them but i was a little worried about the car not wanting to shift but didn't figure I would have the traction issues i did? but luckily only one of the 12 actually raced me and that was Mach1nut! I did trash 4 other "blue bloods" in the process!

 

Nice run there OD! Those gears are way too steep for nitrous. He'd be much better off with 4.10's or even 3.90's on that Mach 1 with spray.

 

I think he is going to see what happens with the 4.56's first and then go from there? stay tuned!
