So you are wanting to race my basically stock z06 but why not race turbo for turbo? i would make it fair and turn the boost down to 8 lbs just like you

One thing, I have never backed down from a race but once, when my 700r4 didnt have 2nd gear and the engine wouldn't rev past 4500 rpms in my old vette. I raced a 383 camaro in my cat back only at the time ls1 t/a. Obviously I knew i was gonna lose but i didnt give a **** cause it was just for fun.

Another thing, I dont talk any **** to anyone unless they start talking it 1st. And i dont run my mouth when i know they can drag my *** down the road.

Now that being said, yes I am sure this guys turbo mustang is faster than my z06. Do I care? no. But I do not think it will out run my 86 when i get it back on the road running right. something about a 383 with around 12 psi makes me think it will put down a touch more than 480 or what ever his mustang is making. but again, do I care if my car will out run his? no i dont care. because it should. well i gotta goto class so yall have fun, ill check this tread again over the weekend if i find time.

And hey, make up your mind. Either talk about the car that doesn't really run, or don't. Why offer a challenge with your car that can't make the race? Your ZO6 will prolly finish a closer loser and may even get you a win as opposed to the car with no engine.

And who was talking to you? Not I. And I didn't say that having a full tank of would have made me lose. I said maybe. not that it would have. make up my mind about what? I didnt offer a challenge. The mustang guy told me to come up there. That car with no engine will have one in it when I find time to work on it. I goto college and have a job. Free time is hard to come by.
