I'm not sure of what hp the Cobra will make. Its going to be limited to around 550 or so anyways at the max. I think it would be a waste to run the 5.0 against you now seeing as how your car would murder me. The Cobra should be a good race and we can get it on video and post it up if you want. Are we gonna go from a dead stop or roll? I'd much rather a dead stop....

I'm sure you would. I don't do dig races because my 10-bolt w/4.10's, 120K miles, and 500hp is not going to take a 3-4K launch at all. I might be able to do a 1st gear roll though. But I do remember what you said your trap speed was in the 1/8th, and I think the 530hp claim is total BS.

on a side note i challenge stop sign to a 0-15mph race, because i think i can outlaunch him but my car doesnt have enough power to hold him off.

I have not constantly called him out. And you don't even know what you are talking about. He is now talking about racing me in a totally different car. Pay attention and know what you we are talking about if you are going to jump in the conversation, or mind your own business. He raced the Z06 from a roll, and I only asked he do the same for me. He has told me before the trap speeds on both of his cars and I know the turbo car is the only one I might have a chance with, hence why I asked to race it, and not the other one. Turbo car should be better from a roll anyway.

I'm not going to bring a knife to a gun fight. Like I said I ran the Z06 in it because I knew he had no chance. Your car is a COMPLETELY different animal. Hell today the gf and me were taking the 5.0 out and the therm stat was sticking closed (not a huge problem I know) and then when I got on it because I was pissed the clutch wouldn't let me hit 3rd gear at high rpms so we had to take it back and park it and take her car. So how on earth am I supose to run a cammed LS1 with spray? Thats crazy... It will probably be a while before I get the 5.0 right because I basically threw a turbo on a tired motor with a 300hp drivetrain and now its starting to show. You can wait until the 5.0 has the 6 speed and I'll race you with a cracked ring still or you can run the Cobra which would be a sooner race. The Cobra's returnless fuel system will limit the power on the car. So it will still be a good race. I'd like to go from a dead stop since the car will have 4.10s in it however I'll settle with a my 1st or 2nd gear punch. Whichever way you wanna go is fine with me and guys on here don't worry we will make sure to get it on video! Dave you know this isn't personal at all, I think you're one of the coolest F-body owners I've met! Just a friendly race. I just don't wanna have a video posted of a WS6 beating a 5.0 by 5 carlengths.
