I was sitting in a turn lane waiting to turn left at an intersection, and an RSX with a carbon fiber hood, body kit, loud exhaust, and who knows what else pull up next to me in the other turn lane. My windows are down even when it's cold and he revs at me. His dumb friend is sitting in his car laughing.

He says, "Hey bro, get a real car. That old piece of junk can't handle a brand new car."

I laughed a bit to myself and said, "Yeah, you're right. You're definitely going to beat me. But let's run anyway since I want to see how badly you beat me."

He goes, "Yeah ok. Check this **** out." He gets a really serious look on his face while looking at the light.

The light turns green, we make the turn and we're even, then when it's straight we both punch it. I heard a lot of noise coming from him, but I instantly put a car on him, then hit the brakes when I had 2 cars on him (it's not the BEST place to be racing at this time). It only took a couple seconds - his car was slowwww.

Of course he won't pull up next to me again, even when I slow down to 20mph.

Yeah, an RSX with those mods would be mid-high 13s @ 102-105mph on a good day (depending on year), so that sounds about right. Good kill OP

 

an RSX mid 13's....that seems really hard to believe....nice kill....when that happens to me on a two lane street, i block them off next to a slow car for as long as possible.

 

Well a buddy of mine had an '02 RSX that ran 13.7 @ 103mph with CAI/race header (longtube, no cat), exhaust, and a Hondata tune, with a few other small mods (stiffer motor mounts, springs/shocks, etc.,). Car put down 207whp. And the '05+ cars start out with more power, and respond better to mods.
