I hate to say it guys but all that might change when the challenger comes out. They should have went with a similar design for the charger but they've sold quite a few just the same.

Even the V8 G8 is supposed to weigh 3995lbs. "Almost" overweight!
See the LX 4-door is a 120" wheelbase. For it's size, it's "almost" light. My fully optioned SRT-8 w/ a full tank weighs 4200lbs. But it's huge.
The concept Challenger is on a 5" shorter wheelbase, so it's still a bit heavy. I'm curious myself to see the actual weight.
Unfortunately, the new Camaro shares the platform with the G8. It should be interesting as well.

raced a r/t charger in my ls1 trans am daily driver. cars bone stock. was coming home, and two chargers side by side. a six with duals and an R/T. i pulled up behind them and revved, the six moved aside. raced the R/T and walked him to a total of about three cars up to 65mph of so.
he asked me what was done, if i had a turbo because it was quiet? i said its stock, you should see my fast car.
he smiled like "bullshit" and drove away
i grinned to myself, hoping to find him again one day in my camaro.
