So we had a meet tonight at the Pizza Port in Carlsbad, and after we figured we'd cruise down coast hwy then have some fun on the road. Well, I went up against an 98-02 SS with exhaust, we did a 2nd gear punch from about 55 to 120 and I pulled I think 2 cars. Then I went up against 3 C5 Vette's tonight. one of them was the z51 Vette. I raced all 3 of them about 2 or 3 times each. 2 of them were automatics, the other was a 6 spd. at one point i had 2 vettes(The auto's) on both sides of me, and we went from a 2nd gear 55mph punch, i pulled the Vette on the left by 2 1/2 cars and the one on the right by about a car length. Then I raced the 6 speed from the same gear/mph punch as the other races, and pulled him by a car. Raced all 3 a total of about 7 times and won each time. The races went around 50-55 mph to 110-120mph. Sorry fot the long post.

Yes it was. I was very impressed with my car. Our cameragirl was waaayyy behind us so no video of my runs, but another guy we were with i think has some video of his runs against the Vettes. he has an 01 SOM SS with LT's, ORY, SLP exhaust, short shifter.. he beat them as well.

got up to 120 or so, too much traffic, i was still pulling on them at 110-120, so, i think i still woulda beat them

what year is yours? i have lid, headers, no cats, ORY, ls6 manifold...

i dno, my tires wont hook, so, who knows.. lol
