Guess you werent too impressed with your T/A when you got it then being they are drivers races. I wasnt impressed when I first drove one either but I had stepped out of my 408 ci 2002 SS, I had to do a perspective type of analysis. Yes compared to what I just stepped out of its the slowest thing on the road, but compared to every other car 30 gs and under new WOW!

Yeah they are little heavy, as far as price goes WS6s were the same price as GTOs when both were new. Cant compare price and speed together like that, Ill go by a dead motored LX Coupe and drop 5 grand into a new motor and wax ALOT of ****.

Nice races! Any plans for the goat? Where are you racing that you only got a 102 out of it at the track? Or were there other (ie shifting) issues?

i have seen alot of the 5.7 gtos that couldnt trap over 102. but most the 6.0 gtos i have seen were trapping 104-106 stock

Yeah that seems about normal for them. The Ls1s though are weird, they either run mid 14s or low 13s, I dont if its drivers or what.

That's waht is confusing me cause I trapped 104 with my stage II STi. This guy should be trapping much higher with a full bolt on @ 20 psi. Hell I'm only running 19 psi and I bet $$ you wouldn't beat me in roll or dig.

Yea the last time I went to the track I ran a 13.9@102, so your definitely right about my trap being low. The day I ran the 13.6@102 it was during the Pontiac Shootout which was my first day at the track!! It was bracket racing and San Antonio Raceway in known for being a very slow track and they hardly ever take the time to prep. So after about 13 good passes and being heat soaked as hell I managed to squeeze out a 2.08 60 ft and pulled off a 13.6@102mph. This took place this past July in high 90* Texas heat. Oh did I mention I was on some worn bf goodrich gforce street tires with full pressure?

bad tires and bad driving wont affect your trap to much but the 90* weather may hurt it. with cooler weather you could prob pick up a couple mph
