I dont know.
Yeah that's pretty bad. Stock C5 Vette autos can get better than that. Even on a hot/humid day a C6 auto should do better than 13.5 with a decent launch.

I hate to say it, but every one of our cars has a certain percentage of the demographic that buy the car for image and resultingly can't drive.

Unforunately, that percentage is higher in Corvettes (at least around here). NOT saying anything bad about 'Vette drivers, as I wish I was one...haha

Simple. Because of gearing.

thanks guys, pntbll309 hit it the nail on the head....There are supposedly a few different gearing setups in the c6's (according to the corvette salesmen I spoke to today) and that is most likely the reason for my ability to pull him. Im sure when I run into one which is geared better, I will see taillights.

The only C6 that I could POSSIBLY see you running with is a 2005 convertable A4 automatic with the 2.73's (and my money would still be on the Vette).....Any other year/tranny/gear ratio C6 and your toast...

I agree and remember on the streets especially from a freeway roll even good drivers in the heat of battle make mistakes.
