I don't know, ~235-240rwhp sounds about right to me... the average 5spd 99-04 GT (especially the 99-early '01 cars) is right around 230rwhp stock.

What he said. Those 2 valve PI mod motors are better than the early 4.6's, but are in no way a real performance threat. They are rated at 260 at the crank and with his LM exhaust he hasn't bumped that up much. And the guy is a convertible too. Slow and heavy...sucks to be him! All that aside, it would probably be a fun cruiser that would sound good. Anything more than that and he is a long way away from fast. Nice kill.

Yeah, I would love it if my car was a convertible... when I found out that all I could really get was a Mustang GT, that's kinda what I was looking for cuz I knew it wouldn't be good for much more than a cruiser. But atleast mine being a coupe gives me a better platform to work with when I can FINALLY make it faster.

nitrous is cheap dude
that some gear and tire and if ya can drive it should be in a high 11 low 12 second car with a 100 shot or more.

Gears/LTs/tune comes before anything else... and it's coming as a package, so I need to save up enough money for all of it.

Good Kill.

Seems like your friend doesn't know much about the newer cars. I know where that race took place i was just over there a few times today for work.
