Default bolton lt1 t/a vs stock ls1 t/a lt1 ***!

on my way to work cruising, when i see a black ls1 t/a switching lanes rapidly, i knew he was coming after me so i was finally going to see how i hung with an ls1. he gets an open lane and does a ricer flyby and its all stock, so i'm thinking i have a chance. i catch up to him exchange nods. and i soon as we get around traffic we both punch from about 75-80. i started to easily pull two cars on him up to about 120. i let off thinking no way im pulling on him like this and sure nough he was still on it. so i punched it and stopped his flyby and pulled another car and if i would of stayed in it i would of continue to pull. i left off after he wasn't gonna catch me, he caught up and gave me a smile and nod. good race. i think he was auto cause i could of killed him worse but chose not to. this was my first good race and i'm proud of my lt1.

With your minor mods and being a vert. That LS1 must have had atleast two spark plugs removed.

or maybe it could of been a shitty running ls1 with a 273 rear end and bone stock. Your car has got to be extremely heavy and you really dont have to many mods so I cant see you hanging or in this case pulling an ls1ta. I know I raced a 6speed lt1ta with minor mods also but he atleast had headers. I beat him similar to how you beat the ls1ta and I had a passsenger and he was alone and Im also an auto.
im not calling bs but it just doesnt sound right

I am surprised because I own both cars. When both of my cars were completely stock. The LS1 would rape the LT1. Especially from a Roll.

0-80 mph?
Nahhh.

Ive had both and they are equally fast off the line.
The LT1 actually feels stronger.

my buddy has an A4 lt1 and i have my M6 ls1, and when we run all the time no matter where we are he is always in front of me to 60 then i just blow by him but i think the lt1 are way more torqey (spell check). but good kill, nice to see some of those cars running like that.

Nice kill. Sounds unusual, but an auto LS1 with 2.73s (just speculating) isn't going to be the strongest runner from a high roll. Also possible that he can't drive at all if it's an M6, but he probably should have pulled you. Stranger things have happened.

Nice Kill but a Convertible is very heavy. Cant seem to find out whats wrong here but I guess you got a rush out of the kill. Nice

I disagree. I had a lt1 6spd and a ls1 with 2.73's. Stock vs. Stock The ls1 was MUCH faster after 60. Torque definantly helps the LT1 at low speeds but it can't overcome the big HP disadvantage up top. (250whp vs 290+ WHP).

My gf has an a4 lt1 with a shift kit, and I play catch up til 50ish with my m6 ls1. Up top lt1's fall on their face, but down low they feel pretty good.

idk, my car pulls pretty hard through fourth gear, i also know exactly where this guy lives onbase, he's 10 mins from my base, i've seen it before but don't remember if it was auto or not, i might have to check. but it definetly felt good being challenged by an ls1 and beating him, he looked pretty embarassed.

I didn't mean the LS1 isn't the faster of those two, I just meant that it won't pull that hard compared to most LS1s.
