Who does a cam/bolt-ons and 4.10's but runs a pair of $50 tires? Isn't that kind of a big contradiction all in itself?

i do. they hook just fine from a roll. theyre not real bad tires at all, but if i took ur advice and nailed it in 1st at 35 at 5,000+ rpms then they wouldnt hold and the race wouldnt been even worse. and the first 3 words of ur post "Why the ****....." kinda makes it sound like you were talkin down on me like im a dumbass. i know my car and know where it breaks lose and where itll hook. but its all good, just hard to interpret people by looking at what they type rather than hearing them talk.

I just hate to see something that should and could have been a pretty damn good race turn out to be pure rape, you feel me? As far as my "WTF" comment, it was just me being intense. Pretty normal and is usually taken offensively by others.

 

and stopsign we agreed to do two runs at first one from my 35 and one from his 40, but then he decided to kinda split it and go from mid 30s, i would have gladly gone from his roll...

 

 

Try launching one that is cammed and geared w/full bolt'ons @ 5,000 and you will know.


Race one with enough power, really sticky tires, and a stock 10-bolt and you will see it break. Maybe not the first time, but its a ticking time bomb.


Because we didn't build an ET machine, just a decently powerful engine and thats it.


Guess I'll never get that race with you until a 12-bolt falls out of the sky and lands in my front yard.

 

idk i dont think it wouldve been that great....i never really stopped his pull, he just kept going.
