It was stick, I could tell when it was beside me. The Mach had exhaust, loud as hell. I thought it was quick.
I love this cam, good power for the size. I need to get some LS6 heads.

Thats fine and dandy, but you didn't race a 150 shot mach 1 with "who knows what else" and beat it by more than 4-5 cars. You didn't beat anything except for you meat and even then it wasn't enough because you felt the urge to come on here and "swing your dick" in an attempt to add fuel to the fire. A 150 shot mach with bolt ons is MORE then enough to make it a good race and most likely beat an average h/c f-body.

what do they run stock 13.2-13.3? i dunno, cuz i have not seen one go that fast (stock) at my local track, and i'm there almost every week whether i race or not. what is the typical race weight on these. b/c with the published curb weight of 3469 and my fat 225 pound ***, it should take a 3700 lb car close to 500 rwhp to beat an 11.37. i just don't see a 150 shot picking up 2 seconds.

i race just about every week, hence my statement that i have not seen one run these kind of times. i've prob got 250+ passes since feb 07 in my car, and 50-75 between my two bikes. i made the semifinals 9 of the last ten times i have raced king of the hill brackets, and i have 3 finals in that time span with one first and two runner ups, including last wed night. not trying to blow my own horn, this is the internet after all. so what exactly is your point with this statement?

A Mach 1 with sticky tires, bolt ons, and a 150 shot will run 11.37@120mph or better given a good driver, point blank..... You can cut it however you want but thats the facts.

Obviously anyone into racing is gonna win some and lose some, regardless of the make/model of the cars they race.
EDIT: Just found them in a previous response. Damn dude, 394/370 through that tiny cam AND an A4? That's sick. Your car must pull like a mother.

It was a joke.

What are the specs on that cam?

I know what it will do with a 150 shot, and some non-sticky tires, and a fairly stock exhaust system LOL!!

Some cars just react better to the same mods than other cars do. Obviously there's a reason for it, but with such similar mods, it's too hard to try and pinpoint the tiny variables that are obviously playing a huge roll in the power difference.

Nice Kill, stories like these are why I don't like to roll race with LS1 cars, not that you wouldn't have won from a dig but that’s where the mach’s gearing comes into play the most.
I've only raced my car twice so don't pay attention to the crappy time in my sig lol. When I weighted it at the track last time (I weigh a little under 200lbs) and with more than a half tank of gas everything in the trunk even some extra's like my electric air pump 3590lbs was my race weight.
