Re: pros and cons of mustangs and camaros
I love fast V8 RWD cars, Chevy, Ford, German, Etc. The 96-98 gt's are slow as hell and see owners of them think they got some fast car. V6 stang owners are even worse even though a new V6 runs about the same times as a pre 99 gt, that's sad. We all know that times a car runs in a 1/4 or on the street depends on the driver. In my 89 5.0 when it was 100% stock I beat a 98 cobra real bad because the guy was grinding third.
When you get past the who's faster I think Ford has a little better quality. My car only has 4600 miles and has seen been the ac stopped working once a bad connection, the alarm shock sensor went bad at 600 miles, the clutch stuck to the floor and smoked, the car has piston slap of course and the side windows are both warped along with the underside of the doors have no finished coat, only white primer. Also the rearedend on these cars isn't painted it rusty and they have 0 romm for anything. You have to fold the rearseat to put anything in back and the passenger side if cramped with no leg room and the floor hump. That'116k miles. I know the new gt's have lots of issues with the new tremec 3650 trans grinding into second and reverse. With all this asside I love the looks of my Camaro and love the power. There are only a few cars under 100k dollars that a like that are now being built. The vette and stang are two of them. The viper being the third. especially love the new vipers, awesome.
