im supposed to run a 06 GTO, full exhaust, A4, DR's, Low 5-something cam, and 175 wet shot, Tune.
he is running on a stock gear and rear, and stock tranny. dont have the horsepower or torque numbers exactly.
with the mods in my sig, what should the outcome be? from a 35 roll, and a dig?
know the post is gonna get the axe, just looking for some input.

 

I think the outcome is going to be whoever spins less. You aren't going to hook on chicago roads covered in salt when it's below zero degrees this weekend.

you are probably pushing what... 70-80 more rwhp than him with his setup? And that is counting his wet shot too.

it will probably go down on ridgeland, meet in the seven eleven gas staion, near sheperd high (used to go there) have a car go down the road, make sure there is no traffic/deer/buzz killers (cops) and then have a couple runs.

 

Just an FYI... its one thing to post the location of a race AFTER it has taken place, than post the location of a race BEFORE it.

 

I thought at least you would pm me the info...let me know when it is going down, i might be there..just to watch, I am tearing apart the z to fix some oil leaks..it probably wont be running until march..

 

If you both hook, you'll win. He's probably putting down around 550 on the bottle, so you have an extra 70rwhp or so at least, plus he possibly weighs a little bit more than you (not much, but he definitely doesn't weigh less - might even be about even in that department with your blower and being a vert). You also have better gearing and a stall.

Unless you don't hookup or suck at driving, there's no reason you shouldn't beat him pretty good.

ricers race there every night...not even nice tuners, pure rice, and they almost hit me one night while i was cruising along, so this is proper pay back in my opinion.

ALWAYS keep quiet about where race spots and race's go down. There are cops on here occasionaly im sure so never ever mention race spots and also you will just draw more attention from spectators then you want
