Good kill, and just goes to show that you never know what you're gonna run into. But in the past decade or so, Hyundai has really started to make some good cars. And they are going to release a RWD coupe in the next year or so, but it will be above the Tiburon. V6 should have ~300hp, and the base motor will be a turbo 4cyl. Should be pretty interesting, especially since Hyundai has a V8 waiting in the wings if the car does well

Note to self.........Boost can make a lawnmower fast LOL
Good close kill. A kill is a kill is a kill. But its kinda funny though you don't have many mods at all and you KNOW he has to be sporting some major mods to keep up with your lightly modded fbody.

I used to have a '99 Tiburon. It was nothing special, but I dropped 1.5 seconds in 1/4 mi with $400 of performance mods.
New Tiburons could be pretty quick with the right set of mods. They have a very weak v6 to start with, but S/C and methanol gets those cars into low 13's and even 12's.

I've had Hyundai Azeras for rental cars several times.
If Hyundai builds the rest of their cars like the Azera, the days of joking about them are gone.
VERY nice cruising car. I drove one over 1000 miles around TX once.
It has supplanted the Toyota Avalon as my choice rental car for a long driving trip. A Toyota used to feel worth the extra $$$. Not anymore.
I even seriously thought about purchasing one as the "Family" car, but the wife won't drive anything but an SUV. Gotta keep the wife happy![Whip](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/whip.gif)
Good Kill and still surprised that a Tiburon could keep up.

The newer style Tiburons can make some pretty good power. One of my friends has a supercharged one runnings in the 12s all day. Good little sleeper if you ask me. Should add it does have a good bit of work done to it though.

what's the point of a S/C tiburon??? What a waste!
I always try to recommend LS1s to everyone who wants something 'fast'. Maybe it's the outdated interior of our cars why people would prefer gay **** or new Mustangs.

Yeah, never heard that one before...
. Speed is speed guys. Doesn't matter if it's FWD, RWD, or AWD. Doesn't matter if it's 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl, or 12cyl. Any fast car gets my respect whether it be a 10s street-driven Civic hatchback, or an h/c/i Corvette (like the 402ci C5 I saw this morning
). Of course I'd rather have the Corvette, but preference doesn't matter at the finish line
