Very quick tiburon
Very quick tiburon On my way home from frys today, I see up ahead on the highway a silver car with a park bench on the back of it, so I figure what the hell 
. I catch up after a bit and see that its a newer style tiburon with some weird body kit and tons of gay graphics on it 
. It was 2 lanes over from me but then got behind me as a bunch of traffic merged in. I didn't get a clear view of the front but I'll assume it was turbo'd. Anyways, He gets to the right of me and the highway magically opens up. I notice he has a triple pillar gauge thing and 3 more gauges on the top of the dash, and it sounded pretty angry for a V6. I tapped the gas to downshift and he went for it at around 60, by 120 I barely had 1/2 a car on him, so this thing was pretty quick despite being ugly as hell.
Also, played with a datsun 280z turbo, but I didn't even need to get out of overdrive to walk away from him.

it was an old body style tibby. but it had methanol injection and a stripped interior. could put one tranny in reverse and the otehr in drive and do some kind of crazy *** donuts. it was a few years ago when i read this article.
I wish I had a picture of it, it was so hideous. It has these flame graphics all over the car, hood and everything that were blue and yellow around the edges. I don't know who makes the body kit but it had those gigantic turkey platter sized fog lights on the front as well.

Those cars **** me off. IMO they look prety good.....if they were RWD and had a decent engine. They just seem like a FWD V6 trying to look like a RWD powerful car. I feel the same way about Preludes.
There is a strong rumor the next gen will have a 300HP V6 and RWD or a turbo 4 RWD, for about the same pricing as a Mustang. Might be interesting.
