with the right tires traction wouldnt be an issue with a cobalt. ive seen one run a high 9 on drag radials, had some traction issues of course, but niether of you are any where near putting down that kinda power.

nope 215 pirellis they suck, 245 nittos are a little better at the track lol. It doesn't help either that its a 18" wheel, next up is some m/t 255's i will see if i can squeze them under the car.

Well my car is going to Tick Performance next week, my heads and cam were too much for my 10-bolt and when I was at piedmont last month my 1.7 60ft time must have hurt the 10-bolt. New mods are a 12-bolt, new drive shaft and a few other surprises.

not neccesarily true. Cobalt addiction offers a stage six kit which is basically everything short of a turbo swap. ie. 2.5 pulley, fuel, meth, nitrous...

But therin lies another problem with the cobalt. Once you get them to hook up you break axles and tranny's. There's a decent set of aftermarket axles but there still not that great and there's no solution out yet for the transmission.

i honestly believe the tranny is fine. I have no idea why people destroy them, you know paul is pushing 375 whp on stock internals and all. I think it has to
do something with the driver.

I know c/a has a stage 6. I would like to see that tune before i say what it makes.
