What's even more bizarre? It had um.... silent cargo... permanently silent if you know what I mean. The guy nailed it so I figured what the
and nailed it too, it wasn't much of a race, I um.. killed him pretty quick but I must say the thing could move pretty well. The guy got off on my exit and pulled into the next lane as I was taking a right he hammered it, it sounded nice!!! The thing had dual tips and a nice exhaust note. I wonder what kind of engine those things have? Anyway.. very bizarre.Brian
Maybe he was attempting to steal the body and outrun the family members, and you just thought he was trying to race ...

If I could "come back" after death, I'd be honored to know that my driver took me on a wild ride such as that. You should only feel bad if the hearse driver had jettisoned some "extra" weight to lighten his load!

This reminds me of something that happened over 30 years ago when I owned a 67 Dart. The entire exhaust was missing except for the manifold. I accidentally cut in to a funeral procession because there was a large gap between cars. There was nowhere to turn, and nowhere to pull over. I slunk down behind the steering wheel as I "feathered" the gas as best I could. The old Dart found a right hand turn none too soon about a mile down the road!
