you got that right, some gears, slicks simple bolt ons, you got yourself a pretty stout runner which imo looks pretty damn good, i love the hood and the spoiler,

I really shouldn't have wasted 15 minutes reading this, but it's a lot like a train wreck....you just can't look away even though good sense tells you that you should!

HAHA! I think we can pretty much sum this entire thread with:

03/04 Cobras, a Shelby GT500, the new 427R, and stock LS1s are relatively quick and are reasonably matched (with a slight advantage going to the Fords with the cars in this class). At the end of the day, there are some crappy drivers behind the wheel of a relatively quick cars and every now and then the underdog wins a close one. It happens all the time.

I had a turbo Beetle jump me off the line to about 30 mph.....of course, that wouldn't have been the case if I found even a bit of traction! That guy would've had a pretty cool kill story if he would've shut it down at 30! HAHA!

and thanks, the mph is high for a stocker, i dont know why but im not complaining, even when i went to the 1/4 track for the first time with my 02, it went 13.4 at 109, with a 2.2 60' and a 8.9 1/8, i couldnt hook, and i only got in one run, kinda sucked, but i still blew all my buddy;s modded cars outta the water by like 2 or 3mph lol

havent been back to the 1/4 since, im waiting on the good track to open up

i actually have a pass at exactly 8.509 too lol, what a trip haha

I meant the factory setup. Anything after that done by someone who could give a crap about warranty and KNOWS what they are doing is a COMPLETELY different story.

There is (was) a 05 GT out here in the Valley that went LOW 11's with a 2.4L KB and a stall on M/T slicks. I know they have potential trust me.

There is (was) also a Black GT with FULL suspension, on slicks with a 150 shot that went mid 11's as well.

Both have since blown up, but that is besides the point. I know what they are capable of, WHEN SET-UP PROPERLY. The factory uses VERY conservative settings to up reliability.

^^^ I love that smiley!!!

Nothing much. Kennyxg called my a Keyboard racer or something when i backed up one of the other guys with a win story bout a 03/04 cobra, that put down the 427r. And me and BlackHawk 02 and CamaroJunky are contemplating a race with Willthethrill. Will hinted toward a spot out in the desert and i stated i used to live out there listed a few more.

nothing much at all besides bitching.

Oh and thanks it isn't my car in the sig . Last i heard it was disassembled and sold. But it does bear a striking resemblence to it. I hope to be pulling tire like that in the next year. Just saving for the 9" right now.
