ok so last night i get a call from one of my buddies he is a big diesel fan. he says he has a good race for one of my friends 01 ta cam/headers, being cocky but my friend wasnt out that night so i said i would race him. i meet him and his buddy- 03 f250 which is chipped and is (fast) so we go to good spot to race, we went form a dig. i spin though 1st and he puts 2 cars on me when i hit 2nd im at his bed. i finely get traction and put a quick 3 cars on before letting out half way in third. we go back to where we meet and my friend gets out with a surprised look on his face and says i didnt think these cars were that quick i told him its a good thing he didnt race my friend it would have been real ugly..

 

He's got to realize as much torque as those trucks make they are still heavier than a brontosaurus...tell him to do some more modding and try again....good kill

 

Heh, and then he runs out of breath in the top-end anyway. Usually at the track, the first part of the track they run away from you, leaving you playing catch-up before the end of the 1/4.

thanks, yeah i think i made a believer out of him now. he will prob think twice before he races a f-body again.

 

An F250 can be fast, but it takes more than a chip to be LS1 fast. Mine has a Banks six gun bundle and is 2v GT-type fast.
