http://videos.streetfire.net/video/8...0101231dc5.htm I made a complete sandwich buring the video! My guess is if it was a 0-150mph run I could not only make a sandwich but completely eat it before the video was over.

Anybody notice the Cobalt was the same size as the Mustang too, so much for compact. The Cobalt got off the line a bit quicker too. Driver is very important. Dont worry, there are a few quick Mustangs out there.
did you get an SS ?

as for the vid in my sig, that was back when the damn thing only had a cutout and cai. Add gears, headers, full exaust, stall, and nitrous, differant car. It has beat plenty of ls1's, stock and modified.... And plenty of mustangs, stock and modified.
Plz, someone feel free to show me a video of your 1996 car doing 155 with only a cai and cutout.

oh yeah, the camera car was a 350Z auto convertable, talk about slow. My cobalt with a modded airbox, filter, and tune put down 217WHP and 188ft pounds, like stated above, not bad for 2900 pounds.

Stop ripping the color by the way, i don't own the car anymore.

Yea, LONG story.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...396&highlight=

I DID NOT SELL THE COBRA for an SS. As soon as I sold the Cobra, I got a killer raise that would HAVE PAID for the Cobra payment (I would not have sold it) and I didnt want to start over from scratch with an 03. My wife wants a baby soon so I had to get something cheap. No Vette so 02 SS it is. God it is slow, but hopefully I can make it better. I love them both but I would rather have my Cobra back. Im gonna blow this car up aiming for 600-700rwhp.

Sorry OP, didnt mean to steal the thread.

are you kidding me ? your saying a 215 hp cobalt is gonna beat a LS1/ modded ls1 with a proper driver ? , and if your talking about your LT1 thats BS too, and also that car isnt gonna get up to 150 much faster with your mods, if you spray that long your gonna burn somthing. its about acceleraton, not max speed.

How many Cobalts have you seen hit 14.2-13.9 at 97-99mph? I've seen several 5 speed New Edge GT's hit it bone stock. I've seen one Cobalt SS wheelhop its way to a 14.7 at 93(?)

Again bone stock 05 cobalt ss (supercharged) 14.09 & 100.00
These cobalts are highly dependent on drivers, There biggest limiting factors stock is the clutch tires and traction management system.
