It's going to be a 2010, but will be out in ~Feb of 2009 (should be on showroom floors a year from now).

Not bad...GM only missed 7 model years.

Once again I hear that the Mustang had a bad driver. When is this excuse going to end? He got out ran by a stock Cobalt. I beat one in my stock LT1 by 4 cars a few month's ago, not much of a race.

If a mustang loose's a race you allways pop in with the old bad driver excuse, in every thread! Never changes, the mustang in the video was banging gears and barking tires. Sound's like the driver knew what he was doing, he just got out ran! Accept it......

guess its kinda like the evo 8 thread that is close to the top right now, evo w/ a few mods beats an ls1 he should but "he must be hiding some stuff to beat you." some races dont happen the way they should, and as soon as its a mustang owner that comments on it, its an "excuse." lawl @ the hypocrits.

Automatic Mach 1s are 14 flat cars at best, and really lack any type of top end pull. IMO less than an LT1 car.
Hmm... Mine must have been a freak. 13.7 bone stock, still with the original skatorback tires.

Lt1 has more bottom end. If i had a stall in the 305 it would take the Lt1 on bottom end. As far as mid range and top end the 305 is a lot stronger!!!

so just to clarify my buddy has beat several gt mustangs in his stock cobalt SS so this race is very possible.

yeah i dont see why this is so hard to believe but cobalts trap like 100 (or close to it) in the 1/4 stock so pulling on a gt from a roll isnt too out there.

As do New Edge GTs... so from a roll, it would be a great race. But the Cobalt got him off the line, which is the problem. And that is why I blame the driver.
