That's a near stock automatic LT1 convertible running up to 155 - it's not too bad. And while it may seem slow to you, remember, it got there quicker than ANY stock automatic Mustang.

Automatic Mach 1s are 14 flat cars at best, and really lack any type of top end pull. IMO less than an LT1 car.

There are a handful of bone stock A4 Mach's that have gone 13.8-13.9. The quickest I've ever heard of went 13.61 (rhite95 on Mach1Registry.org). I would suggest that 14 flat is a good average, but not an "at best".

I've seen plenty of those Machs run around here. The 5 speed cars run well, better than most on this site give them credit for. However I've not seen a single automatic car break 13s yet. I have seen numerous completely stock LT1 automatic cars in the high 13s. In any event, claiming that the fastest automatic equipped Mustang (modern era) is only capable of keeping up with a 15 year old GM is laughable.

Just cuz you haven't seen it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. And claiming "fastest automatic modern era blah blah blah" is really grasping at straws.

I don't think that is what I was trying to claim, but if that is what you're going to degrade into, then have fun playing with yourself.

What is laughable is that you managed to twist this into (yet again) another Ford vs GM battle.
