MY last car was a civic with about 200-210hp and I smoked a bullitt mustang with THAT, so imagine what my corvette would do. If I drove a car as slow as yours I would have to wear a wig when I went out so no one would recognize me.

According to the story, the guy in the other car never said he had nitrous. DontRevMe said he saw the guy purge, out the front of the hood, while travelling at 20-30 mph, in the dark ....

I'm going to chime in again and call one more time.

The only way this story is feasible in any way/shape/form is if you mistakenly thought he had nitrous, he purged the remainder of his nitrous, he was only running a 10hp shot, he blew a shift in BOTH races, or his car was severely mis-tuned.

As for the A4 stock TC theory, thats a possibilty in the first race, but the second race they ran from a dead stop, which would kill that idea.

As for DontRevMe, I am not saying that your car is slow by any means, but without the nitrous you have a light bolt-on C5, which would only beat a stock TA by two-three cars or so in a 0-100mph race. Add 100 hp to that same completely stock TA, and hes walking past you without your nitrous. I am not saying you didn't beat the car, but I am saying you did not beat a nitrous powered TA, regardless of whether or not you think you saw him purge, while going 25mph, at night ...

As for bullitt, go away, nobody wants to hear your opinion on anything. Your input is worthless anyways.

1 more thing why does everyone in here Assume that guy was running a 100 shot could have been 50, all I know is a killed him bad. the last race against ta w/spray much closer.

 

You have to host the image on another site, such as geocities.com or a personal webpage of anykind ... then do the "image url" tag and put the address of the image into that tag.

Like I said before, I am not doubting you beat him, I am just thinking that he wasn't really on juice, based on the fact that I have a nitrous powered M6 LS1, and previously owned a nitrous powered Auto LT1. Both of which are/were easily able to take out a C5.

I belive him......the 1983 crossfire trans am even with a 100 shot only has what 170 hp

I could understand mixing up the LT1 and the LS1 year f-bods ... but nobody could possibly confuse an 80's f-bod for a LT1 or LS1 powered f-bod ... I hope?

 

Maybe instead of purging, you saw the guy using the windshield washer fluid. DOn't know how you could really mistake the two, but it's just a thought (plus, I gotta test my new sig... heeheehee)

I had an interesting nitrous encounter before though.....
Raced a guy in a 96 lt1 m6...
I told him what i had, even opened the hood. he wouldn't though. Said he had intake, exhuast, maf.
We line up to race he has 2 people in the car and he gives me the go!!! I knew something was up but I raced anyway and beat him by 2-3 cars.
when we gets back he starts asking hella questions and wants to look under the hood again. We race again one of his friends flags... got a car though first gear and held it to 120mph.

found out 2 weeks latter that he was spraying through an aqaintance that he was sprayin

 

should be makin around 350-450 at the wheels and run anywhere in the 12s depending on traction and ****.

Hey yo- Maybe he like had a whoppie coushion thingys mo-deals under the hood set up on a switch yo!Or maybe it was the tbi 305 passing gas or sumtin. That or he didnt spray at all
