Its interesting that the first, third, and fourth races that both drivers punched it at almost the exact same time with three different outcomes. first one dead even, third one the Z takes it, and the fourth the cobra takes it. Must be different speeds for the gearing to help out the vette and other speed better for the boost of the cobra. Good runs!!!

With equal drivers & passengers, the Z06 seems to be the faster car of the two, even with 60 less rwhp.
No excuses though, that Vert Cobra moves out.

Come on. Most everyone agreed it would be very close. It was close with the cobra surprising most on here as i predicted.

the shoe is on the other foot. mustang guys are usually the one saying well if it were a better driver. now we get this thread. and all the gm guys are saying the vette lost due to poor driving. does it mean the vette is a pos? no all it means is that some people can row better than others. that can be the difference in a race

Honestly, I would have to say the Cobra would get the Z from a roll with no passengers in either.

Agreed. When the Cobra was walking, it was walking away. When the Z won, it was a car or so and a stalmate, which really seems wierd either way. Id say that Cobra was a little stronger.
It does seem the drivers were all over the place as far as consistency.
Now if it was a solid axle coupe, it would have been much worse with 250lbs less to carry.
