It would be lucky to break into the 12's WITH a hard launch. The car isn't going to gain a full second in the 1/4 mile from those mods.
You just love exaggerating everything.

His car might be capable of mid 12's but is the driver? MOST LIKELY NOT. 99%of the dipshits can't launch their cars, what makes you think it would be any easier for them to properly launch an AWD car?

They also have tons of transmission problems, such as gears blowing up and synchros going out. And these are all relatively low mileage cars.

More realistic numbers are 0-60 in around 4.8-5.0 seconds (hard AWD launch) and around 6 seconds if you take off normally. Most stock cars will run mid 13's at around 100MPH in thr 1/4 as well, if you don't launch it, expect high 13's/low 14's at around 99MPH.
In fact, courtesy of Evolutionm.net, here are the fastest stock times listed in their registry by members:
13.5 @ 101MPH - '05 GSR
13.5@ 103MPH - '06 Evo 9
13.5 @ 100MPH - '05 Evo
13.6 @ 100MPH - '03 GSR
13.6 @ 99MPH - '03 Evo
13.8 @ 97MPH - '04 RS
So the fastest stock one on the entire forum ran 13.5 @ 101MPH. Damn impressive

Plus it's not stock, you can gain a full second easily in a turbo car with his mods.

I would think any dipshit could launch an AWD car, it's not going to spin. But the kid sounds retarded and probly cant speed shift it or anything like that. I would catch him with his friends and call him out and see what happens.

they actually CAN spin tire(s), ive seen it, the ratio between the front and rear driveline is different. dont qoute me on this but i think they are more biased towards the front differential. even still, you would only see this with a high torque car with a hard launch. i dont know his mods, he may not even have half the **** i stated earlier, he may only have an intake and exhaust. and i dont think he can drive well either.

You realize we're talking about the EVO IX, right? People have cracked high 12s with those BONE STOCK. Do a little research before you go spouting off at the mouth

Like I said, the majority of people aren't retarded enough to launch the car hard enough to run the kinds of times that the magazines pull anyway. It fries the clutch horribly and can easily break drivetrain parts. Those transmissions are garbage to begin with, and doing that kind of crap only makes it worse. And without the 6K clutch drop, you aren't going to run anywhere near high 12's. More like high 13's.

From my experience with launching AWD cars(my only experience is beatin the **** outa my x's parents Subaru Outback, so I aint tryin to act like I know what I'm talkin about) is that unless you launch them perfectly they tend to bog down shortly after the launch, kinda like tryin to do a burnout in an f-body with asr on..
