None of these are my cars, but they both are my friends. This happened last weekend, but my friend has corolla 02 and the other kid has a sport edition cougar.... and i thought it would be fun to see them go at it. So we go to a safe road and they line up next to each other at a stop, then three honks and they go. after about how ever long we meet up with them down the road and the cougar lost by a bus and a half!!!! LOL

just a story i thought i would share because i found it very funny

also cougar has exhaust and intake...

I think you meant to say the Ford was just behind the bus and the Corolla was just ahead of it. The bus driver let off though, because of traffic.

I've driven the cougars. Slow and very uncomfortable for a tall/big guy. my right knee hits the area where the console meets the dash and in the manual cars, my right foot pushes the clutch, brake and gas...all at the same time. I'd rather have the Corolla since it's faster and gets better mileage.
