I have a freind with a pulled full bolt on convrt.. but on a Mustang dyno he only making 413/440 and hes a convert ..on the same dyno .. im at ...386/386
we were dead even .. ran 3 times same result .. i could not pull him and he couldnt pull me.. but u said there is 100 rwhp diff. so my guess would be ..cobra wins every time.. IMO

so i think with the tr230 you can beat up on alot of pullied/bolt-on cobras.
now a full-bolt-on/ported/pullied cobra it'll take a heads/cam with a 100 shot ls1 and you'll be in the clear.

The question is far too vague for a real answer IMO. There are cam only
LS1's that run anywhere from 10's to 12's and the same thing applies
to 500rwhp Cobras. Guys are literally running 10.50's with 500rwhp in
Cobras. On the same note, plenty of people are running 12.0's as well.

So how much power does an good H/C ls1 put out, like with a set of AFR heads and a nice cam? I am asking this because cam only cars usually put down 375-400rwhp. So from a good set of heads how much extra power would that car push?

So it seems like the heads really dont make a hell of a lot of difference. My friends cam only SS puts 417 at the rear. So how much would a good set of heads pick his car up?

ive seen cars dyno at 370hp, and still hit deep in the 11's and trap 110-119mph. but it depends on the heads, i would say 20-40 more hp

Yea, take him from a dig.. Cobras have a hard time putting that power to the ground. Most folks ignore suspension mods and if they have suspension mods very few have the skill to feather the power to the ground.
The more back to back runs the better chance you'll have (Heat Soak).
it's not going to be an easy task, you better be on point..

Send the vid over, i'll see what i can do..

Damn, I've got the video, but I would need to blur out someone's face on it and I don't have the software to do it. If anyone can help me out, let me know; otherwise, just trust me that the Cobra pulls a solid 4-5 cars from a second gear roll (and the driver of the Z is no slouch).
