Pullied Cobra vs Cammed Ls1
Can a tr230 cam only 3400 stall ls1 with 400rwhp beat a pullied cobra with full bolt ons and a ported supercharger. Im guessing that will put a cobra about 500rwhp. Wondering if possible because of the mustangs weight and brick like body to lose?

I would think the cobra would have the advantage. I had a little trouble in the Z06 when it was stock racing one that had a smaller pulley and bolt ons. They are pretty potent when modded.

No and they are only 150lbs more which only needs 30rwhp to overcome. They are very close on thier Cd as well.
A pullied/ bolt on Cobra will usually run with H/C F-bodies. First hand experience here but you can hope for a bad driver, thats very possible since you run a stalled A4.

^ I agree. From a dig the cobra might be in trouble. From a roll it'll be the Cobra all the way.
I raced a full bolt-on/ported blower with my cam only 6 speed LS1 (making 420 rwhp) from a 60 roll and he ran away from me good. I'd say 4 cars from 60-120.

A ported blower Cobra with a small pulley and supporting mods should be putting right around 500+ to the wheels. From a dig, the Fbody might have the advantage, but top end that Cobra is going to walk all over it if they're both stock weight.
Let me find the video ScreaminRedZ is talking about if I can. It's a ported/pulleyed Cobra with all the supporting mods against a 420rwhp 2002 Z28 that trapped 118.9 at Englishtown (so it backs up that dyno number). Be back shortly....

Damn, I've got the video, but I would need to blur out someone's face on it and I don't have the software to do it. If anyone can help me out, let me know; otherwise, just trust me that the Cobra pulls a solid 4-5 cars from a second gear roll (and the driver of the Z is no slouch).

According to cars.com. The Cobra has a cd of .38 and the LS1 f-body has a cd of .34
It's not that far apart

Id love for someone to find out. I read the .38 was for the Verts. If you look up spec's on the Cobra, they show .33 and others show .38.

Either way, they are nearly identical to the F-bodies. Now check a C6 vette and its like .27 I believe.
