He did not pull on a pullied Cobra. His prime power range all depends on the gearing he has.

Unfortunately, I have to agree... Seems most 03-04 Cobra's are about 350 rwhp stock. So a pullied one ? say even just a handheld tune (think Hypertech etc) would be about 400's ?
Pullied Cobra = Nice view of the tail lights with those mods. I have more mods and a decent tune. A Catback, pullied Cobra showed me just why they are so respected..altho from what I hear it was most likely not a stock blower or perhaps a ported one.

what im really trying to find out is if manually dropping an auto ls1 into second at 70mph is a good idea or even possible.

Most Termi's I've personally seen dyno around 375-395rwhp. A pullied one, no less than 420+ since most people with pulley kits also have a few bolt ons.

70 will drop a 2.73 car into second and into the meat of the powerband. Not sure about 3.23 or above.

with my stock A4 3.23s i just drop it into "D" to get it off the overdrive and it pulls great.

what the majority of the ppl posting on here are missing the point, anything can happen on the streets... and its not the matter of who beat who but what the auto powerband is... like someone stated above.. it depends on his gearing, and i think if hes gearing down to secon from 70mph i think its hurting his transmission. it probably wont show it till later down the road though. if i were him id just keep it in OD or just down shift to D. if he really feels the need i would not be going over 35-40mph to downshift to 2..

just my opinion
