I wasnt aware...why are they so slow then? Last time I went to the track there was a shelby gt500 there (fords flagship gt) running a 12.4 with M&H DR.

GT500's weigh considerably more than the average GT or FBody.

the gt500s weigh 3900lbs the gt's start at about 3550 depending on options, bonestock will run 13.5-14.0@101-103. with a intake, exhaust, and tune i ran a 13.2 @107

I've seen one with no options really the only thing taken out was jack weighed like 3470.

ya takin out the jack and spare will drop about 40lbs. so i can see it. mine weighs about 3750.
