Im not really too familiar with the difference in GTOs but this GTO was bad. looked completely stock and was quiet until he got on it(or i couldnt hear it over my car + low music). it had the 2otl exhaust, silver.
my car is a 01 WS6 full bolt ons and dynotuned.

I cruised up behind him in warwick by wendys and was behind him at a red light. my girl and I were just talkin about GTOs and how fast they can get with not too much work. when the light goes green and he babies it off the line and then gets on it. So i of course try to persue and see what it had. he stayed a car ahead of me the whole time even when his car got a lil loose on him. we both shut down mid-high 4th gear and went our seperate ways if its someone on here i def want a rematch but i think you will still get me definately a fun death!

 

i would like to be the first on here before the TROLL cunfuzed gets here. great story sounds like you had a good time. are you a stick or an auto. it was either 05 or 06 if it had dual exhaust.

 

Both of the ones i raced i pulled by a car or so. Hmmm.

With the right starter mods like cai/ud pulley/kooks longtubes with catless mids and the stock catback I was able to beat fullbolton fbodys and some beat me. Its all variable on the car and driver mod.

Dark catch him and run him heads up. If he beats you then it was a death. If you start behind him and try to catch and never nose up, than that is not a loss. I know the area very well (hell I live right there). Were you going toward greenwich ave or up RT 2?

Nice death, OP. I still don't understand all the arguing that goes on between GTO owners and TA owners. They're both damn nice cars and fast as hell; it just comes down to who is driving which one and whether it's an M6 or A4.

Thats what my buddies likes to do to me in his 04gto. Stay about a car lenght behind me then hammer it and fly by then if I hammer it says throws the hazards on and says I could not catch up He would make a really good ricer

my girl is actually workin on purchasing a 06 goat atm, so i can drive which ever i want soon haha. if you want you can ask TTP or Slowhawk about my clutch/3rd gear both have witnessed it
