So if your car still runs what it did then I think its safe to say that my car on street tires now will outrun your car on DRs.

However on the street it would be absolutely no contest.
Oh I agree, my car isn't very hot on the street street. But thats not that I built it for, I am more interested in track times than highway runs.

See our cars are built COMPLETELY for different reasons. My car is actually setup for roll races. Not that I like them (I actually think they are stupid) but since I drive the car every day I'm more likely to run up on someone that wants to race going on the highway at about 50mph. So the car has 3.27 gears and stiff suspension.

Most people would consider the nitto a street tire. Unlike drag radials they behave well in the rain, they last 15000 to 20000 miles instead of the normal 5000 you get out of the others, and they don't hook near good enough to be a true drag radial.

Ok you think roll races are stupid but you built your car for them.

Well the fact is that there are turbo/supercharged LS1s that run slower than some cam-only cars, and 90% of the races posted on here are from rolls. It's not a big deal

Thats a 10 page thread 12 sec "stockers"... more than a few have straight boltons/good gears/driver/weight reduction.

Oh and before I get flamed my boy has a 93 speed density formula w/ 144,000 miles on it w/ full exhaust, cutout, chip, intake... and that thing LUMPS up on blue ovals pretty good.....

I have vids Im almost tempted to post in this kill section, but being a Ford guy I don't want to threadjack towards the bowtie way.

At the same token, that car had to work until 90mph to barely come around my factory stock 1991 GT convertible w/ 3.08 stock gears.

Now I have a 99 Cobra that has been a best of 10.9@126mph in the 1/4th mile and since then it has picked up 2-4rwhp so it should run alittle faster. Hopefully that makes alittle sense to you. If not then I am sorry and have a nice night.
Hey mchdg86's WS6 has 134,000 miles on it with a baby cam stock rear end with 3.42s....and is blastin 1.6 60ft times with a 3600 stalled auto...on nitto street radials....u dont stand a chance idiot.....if he throws a 100 shot of nitrous hed probably be in th 10s....so ur cobra wouldnt stand a chance either....by the way do u have pics of these cars and time slips....cuz i think ur full of ****....

Yeah man as tyler said I do a pretty good burnout. I start in first then shift into second and hold it for about 5 more seconds, I have gotten my best launches from 1500. They are the 315/35/17s and I run about 20 PSI in them. I know its hard to belive but they have gotten me a few 1.65 sixtys. I wouldn't have belived it if I hadent seen it myself.

Your stock rear is a 3.42 but mine is a 3.23 rear gear. 3.23s are standard in the WS6s and the SS.

Thats impressive.... Im going to give the nittos one more shot. 2nd gear burnout, 1500 launch @19psi and give them a bath in trackbite for good measure.
