LT1 vs. 300C hemi My mods:

His mods:
Exhaust?? and a tune... idk what else... shoulda asked him first (he works with me)
went from about a 30mph roll... but he jumped the gun. I was doing 3 honks and he started on the first honk. lol so he kinda got a head start, but i started pulling very slowly, and it kinda evened out at the top of 3rd into 4th gear for me. Mighta been different if he waited for the 3rd honk...

A mid-high 13 sec 102mph car pulling on a low 13-high 12 109mph car? Can't see it especially from a roll.
Not saying it didn't happen, I just can't see how.

Oh ****...disregard my post. For some reason I was reading SRT8 300....
Good kill on the 300C. Sounds much better now
and dshag, the 300C never came with the 6.1 Hemi, only the SRT8

lol i know just forgot to type in srt 8, i think they pretty much did away with the C in 2006 and just changed it to srt8 but not sure on that. Edmunds has the the c/srt8 listed as the same in 2006

Good kill. They do make 300C's and they are the 5.7's and they offer the 6.1 in the SRT8 model only. The 5.7's are a very high 13 sec car with a tune and the tune really does wake them all up with the shifts going from 5500 or so up to 6K and even 6500-6600 in the SRT8. The SRT8's are much stronger a blast to own!

ya, but now i think my posi is taking a ****. loud popping noise around corners at slow speeds... and around corners i can feel the rear kinda hop... sweeeet

my moms boyfriend has a 300c with a hemi, def a stout car. he let me take it out one night back in oct and i felt kinda like a traitor when on the merrit a z28 rolls up on me and gives me that look, i burned him by a good 3-4 lengths but it was also a LT1
