How do these guys justify asking someone to pay that much for a car that at the end of the day is still a Mustang. They aren't bad cars but over 50K they just aren't worth it. JMO.

Stock brakes, stock shocks, stock springs. And I would still not worry about an S281E on the track or roadcourse. Z06's are just to light, and considering mine accelerates quicker than a S281E I think it would be a rough day for the Mustang.

Do you know much about the S281E's? Stock suspension and you think you can handle it?...WOW.

I know about them pretty well, used to drive a Mustang and know the exact specs of that car. Rated@475 flywheel, dyno 420 or so, I am at 437 and weight like 500 pounds less. I have 13" Brakes stock, and 3220 RACEWEIGHT aint much weight to stop either. As far as the suspension they are not really comparable, unless they use the 99-04 IRS, but Im 99% sure it is just a strait axle 8.8 with maybe some adjustable suspension parts and good brakes.

They did use a solid axle, but if you think a solid setup can't be built to handle corners....you are soarly mistaken. Carrol Shelby himself has stated IRS isn't necessary given you can make a Solid rear handle just as well. It's all in knowledge of your setup.
An no offense, but 'used to drive a mustang' doesn't mean you know about all of them. Hell....I have owned seven mustangs in total, but I dont' know everything about stangs.

For reference, the 05 S281E was rated at 500bhp and the 06+ were rated at 550bhp and 490?lb-ft.
