haha, silly mustangs, kinda like that one that was packed with dumbass teenagers trying to race me the other night thinking daddy's stock GT was the fastest car on the road. so i just dropped to second right next to them and made them deaf....they stopped tryin to **** with me after that. nice kill, yeah this thread has been taken over.

Everyone thinks mustangs a girls car because over half the 94-98 body style i see driving around have girls behind the wheel, v6s and gts atleast. I will admit i see girls in f-bodys sometimes and often times real clean f-bodys, but 9 out of 10 times its a guy.

Who cares, girls drive all sorts of cars.
IMO neither Mustangs or F-bodies are "girl" cars. It is pretty legit when you see a good looking girl driving a V8 anything.
I am still trying to talk my girl into a 5-speed 03-04 Mach 1 as her DD.
I'm pretty sure she want's an 04-05 Audi A4 though.

Well if it's the heavy LS1 GTO A4 all a 99-04 GT 5spd would probably need is full exhaust, cai, 4.10 gears, and a good dyno tune. That would be more than enough to beat the heaviest LS1 in the family. I used to have a '02 Mustang GT and now I have a '04 GTO A4.
The best stock time I've seen of a '04 GTO A4 is 13.5 at 103 but most average low 14's/high 13's.

yup i have never seen a mustang 4.6 make good power on all motor.my buddy owns a badass machine shop and builds lots of ls1 and some 4.6s and he has an engine dyno and the best 4.6 he built made 367hp. he made 347 ls1 that made 497hp.i havent ever seen an N/A 4.6 get close to me yet

367 on an engine dyno is rather low if it was a built motor. I know LS1's make more power. My wife wants an F-body or G8/GTO badly but doesn't want another note. I wish she would get an F-body so I can drive it and my Cobra. Right now I'm tired of driving this damn Honda. My patrol car is faster than my Honda....

Look, I own both so I don't take offence to the stang bashing........but
My 02 GT with....intake, x-pipe, catback, 4.10's, diablo tune, and dr's went 12.98 @106. That was @ a 2500 launch. My friend has almost the same car but has upper and lower control arms and launches @ 5500. His best time is 12.77 @ 105. So I dont think that it takes a full bolt on stang to hang with a stock LS1 f-body. Mind you that after 110 mph I run out of umph and have to go into 5th. I really think that my ss is easier to drive faster than my GT. The problem is that there are tons of young punks that think GTs are just fast and cannot drive worth a damn. Most of the F-bodies at the track I go to are high 12 sec cars @ 106-109mph. By far not rapeing 2v gt's. At least not mine.
O.K. I have donned my fire suit and am ready for the napalm assult.

I put away an '00-04 GT on saturday also.
He actually started revving at me.
We went from like a 10mph roll and I couldn't put
him away until the top of 2nd gear
After that it was a train length until I shut it down at about 90mph.
