i believe it is aluminum and anytime you run air over aluminum it is cooled off but significant,i dont think so and i highly doubt you have to use octane boost for it


common sense says that is b/s,i dont usually add octane boost for my nitrous i just run 93-94 but he has to have it for a piece of metal that sits there

actually my uncle has an 11 sec n/a fox body and a cobra....

the fox isnt a 5.ho tho

you are full of it,yeah im sure when you hit that switch it will walk away from a stock ls1,and probably not by much

I'd like to build a 410W notchback. IMO the 351W is the only recent Ford motor that will keep up with a modded LT1/LS1/LS6 keeping both cars nonboosted.

lol, thats exactly why he doesn't have the 5.0 anymore. and that's why my license plate is the same as my aviator... to give him **** lol

its a 351W, notchback. it's a bad lil ******. real nice blue but still ugly as hell imo it's a 79? i think.

351 works well, W or C

nice thing w/ the W is theyre cheap as hell to mod just like the 302, since many things are interchangable

The Mach 1 vs ls1 debate has been beat to death. It is common knowledge among people that know that it is a drivers race w/ the edge going to the ls1 @ 100mph+.
Now we all know that no one leaves there cars stock so it's a mute point. Mod for mod the bigger cubes will take over,that why there are so many FI mod motors. That being said , all this BS makes me want to race some of thees almighty ls cars. Any takers??????

PLEASE show me where I said a stock Mach 1 was "running in the 12's stock?" And as far as I know my old Integra has the record (from what I've seen/found) for a stock GS-R @ 14.97s, but there are TONS of people that get 15.1-15.3.
