i still claim it's stock cause the heavy bolt-on stangs here all say they just have exhaust and won't pop the hood

You know popping the hood doesnt prove much in some cases, sure if there is a turbo or nos lines under there, but a cammed ls1 with heads to a person who doesnt know what stock ls1 heads look like it would look like just a bolt on f-body. When really is making 100rwhp more lol,

they want 29 grand because comp orange is rare as hell(or just because its at a stealership)

281 coupes and 72 verts total, only available in 04

The orange ones are pretty badass. They just wanted to have a "hugger orange" for themselves

Though I'm sure she thought because her car sounded fast she had a chance. The truth is, it'll still get worked by a properly driven ls1.

99% of the Mustang owners on this site will be the first to tell you that a 2V, or 3V 4.6 with nothing more than a catback wouldn't be enough for your car.

The 4V cars are a different story. A Mach1 could go either way with your stock F-body, and it would not be good for you to run into a 03-04 Cobra with any kind of aftermarket anything if the guy knows how to drive.

Good kill though, you at least gave your girlfriend an education

i havent had a mach1 keep up with me but i've had varying results with cobras even though i shouldn't be a match for them...

and now she wants a cobra which isn't cool cause she can actually drive a stick and will most likely beat me by the time she gets on i'll be modded enough to take her thouigh

shes also considering the new camaro
