Lol the 5.4liter in the new cobra is better than the 03/04 it just comes in such a heavy unlaunchable car. Im comparing the 2because they are both s/c and have forged internals are they compareable NO. A 3700lbs car with 370rwhp vs a 3200lbs car with roughly 570rwhp and far better suspension for the track and better brakes, better styling. Did you like that comparison?

Ford never seems to understand that weight is a factor in every type of racing
and f-body fanboys never understand that the vette and mustang are apples to oranges. period.

camaro will get the LSA, and wont have forged pistons

I like how he likes when i compare the termi to the new ZR-1 and says it deserves the comparison and then says you cant compare the 2 they are apples to oranges.

I wasnt at first, i was just saying how the vette is F/I with forged internals now as well, then he made a comment about comparing them, so i did. OK supersnake 725hp, ZR-1 625hp lets take a look at the 1/4mile time, supersnake rn a 12.1 on the tires it comes with. The zr-1 went a 11.3 at 131mph on its factory tires. I hope the Supersnake has alot of suspension work because at 3900lbs with the stock suspension the base GT500 looked horrible around the track

Just wait and see what people can do with the ls9, a 6.2liter supercharged vette with forged internals, 625hp stock can you say 650rwhp with bolt ons and a tune.

Nobody EVER says that a Mach 1 should beat an F-body... it is a driver's race, plain and simple. If you can't understand that, I'm sorry. And maybe they want that much money because it's 1-2 years newer than any F-body you can buy?

I've heard that the new Camaro is going to weigh about as much as the GTO... for the base version.

theyre both pony cars and cost within a few thousand of eachother. thats dead on after you tried comparing a 35k cobra to a 100k vette.

granny doesnt need the nitrous to take on an f body, all she needs is a steep hill and your going down

IMO the cobra is not a pony car....the Mustang GT is. i forget the price of the ss or ws6 models in 2002 but i think it was somewhere around $25k? and im probably wrong again but werent the cobras like $40k or something? I may be VERY wrong, someone correct me please. but thats what i recall.

he was only comparing the motors, which are both forged, s/c. and those things are gonna break 100k? damn.
