IMO the cobra is not a pony car....the Mustang GT is. i forget the price of the ss or ws6 models in 2002 but i think it was somewhere around $25k? and im probably wrong again but werent the cobras like $40k or something? I may be VERY wrong, someone correct me please. but thats what i recall.
google is your friend try it for something other then **** you might learn something accidently
imo regardless of pricing, with what the cobra is made of it should be much faster than an ls1 car but it really isnt. that is why i don't respect them even if one happens to beat me

The best stock ET that I'm aware of for a LS1 fbody is a 12.89.
A half a second is huge...not to mention the 114mph traps that
came with the 12.43 ET for the Cobra.
Now, that's all irrelevant for the most part since the general public
can't drive either car. But there is no denying the fact that the Cobra
is the faster car in stock trim.
Stock sucks. Bench racing sucks. Woulda coulda shoulda sucks.

to compare the appropriate trim levels...Camaro SS to the Cobra.
There is maybe a $5-$6K difference in MSRP, which is really nothing.
Besides, relying the $$$ debate is very ricer. I would hope that people
here are above that BS argument.
