Wow... there are getting to be too many retards in this world. I keep getting more and more evidence to back up my theory that people are getting less intelligent as time passes (watch the movie "Idiocracy"). I had a GS-R, and it ran a BEST time of 14.97, and a BEST trap speed of 93.98mph. That's not gonna be anywhere close to even the worst driver in an LS1 car. It was fun picking on 94-98 Mustang GTs and V6 F-bodies, but that was about the extent of it. Way to put him in his place

Or it could be because the media is making the street racing scene more and more public, and encouraging reckless driving... and the fact that movies are so unrealistic and theatrical that the uninformed don't know what's true and what isn't.

Its a sad day for Humanity when people prefer riced up econo-sedans with 4 cylinder engines and crappy drivetrains over RWD V8 Muscle cars. And don't say its because they are cheaper, because an Evo MR is about 10K more than a well optioned Mustang GT or F-body was. And don't say its because of gas prices, because those pieces of **** only average about 17-20MPG, actually worse than what you'd get in a 6 speed V8, mostly due to the short gearing and the fact that the engine has to struggle to move the car below where the boost comes in.
