No I dont but I know as high as my limiter went when I broke my shift **** and missed 2nd went last night that it will got the rpm you suggest. I am going to call TSP today and ask them I was planning on spraying in the future as well and I just got my 42lb svo injectors in this week. I appreciate your suggestions and help!

I've had no problems with the pro 5.0. Glad to see some guys that know where to shift. We've got a local guy running a dyno telling people to shift @ peak power. I told him straight to his face he was wrong

All you did was found out what cam made the most power, and didn't think about your goals, or even how high you could turn the car. IMO, you just have a bad setup unless your planning on getting gears and rod bolts anytime soon.
I have had a plan for a completely new rear and gears very soon, I did plan the cam and wanted to try it out see how I enjoyed it. The reason I'm posting is so I can get the suggestions I need to run the car properly, like I said I picked my car up for $1500 last year and it was wrecked and just got it out this month. So that being said I'm learning as I go, I dont think the car is a set up bad at all its more less just me that needs some more practice.

Don't buy a 9" or 12 bolt till the 10 breaks. Get better at driving and take some of the advice given to ya bro. Ya should have bought a smaller cam like a nice TR 224, or something in that range. What are your plans with the car too?? That makes a world of a difference. Try to plan your mods, and be honest with what you're going to do with the car. Take care-

I can't appreciate the advice enough thats why I love this site. To be honest this is the first f-body i have began to rebuild out of the 4 I've owned. I was setting my car up for a great street/strip car and I dont want to hear how about driveablilty issues with a big cam sux. I only have a mail order tune and driveability is NO issue.

I was setting the car up to run n2o and for off the shelf cams I read all about the ms cams loving the spray. I took all the proper valve train precautions at most with the current motor I would run 150 shot. I know i can get a custom spec from predatorz or patrick g, but I know I can get my set up to work with everyones help. I just need a lot more practice in an m6 car, and I know the 224 cams are awesome and proven cams I just didnt want to go that route. Once this set up fails my intentions were a 408 swap, but I still want to run the living daylights out of the set up i have now. I'm not sure if its worth tearing everything apart to replace the rod bolts I've heard so many back and forth comments on it

We had 3 runs also I had 3 people total in my car(M6) and he was by himself. I still have stock 3.42 gears and only a mail order tune at the moment. Ok we did 3 honks first run I missed 2nd just shut down right away. Second run he got a slight jump and beat me by about a half a car. Third run pretty much the same outcome and I noticed I slowly start to reel him in but we shut down before I get to pass him. What I can't figure out is with my mods I should be around 400rwhp give or take some and hes pretty much stock with stall. Is this a normal outcome or what the hell is going wrong here?

Honest question here. Why do Ford owners post in here? Do you have a LSX car? By the way, the Cobra is sick. I love that blue. I wish the teal Camaros were not so rare.

I would not spray that car espically with a mail order tune and that big of a cam. Your best bet is to spend the money on a tune before anything else. I bet that the 10 bolt will even hang on for quite a bit while longer they are not as horrible as everyone makes them sound.

I won't be spraying the car before a dyno tune, but I will buy the kit and install it so the car can be tuned for the n2o. It's not my DD and I'm not "that" hard on the rear end even then you still never know, one dead hook and she could snap but I'm hoping it will last a little while yet.

You need to be shifting that car @ 6700-6800 with that cam to keep it in the power band dude... Get yourself a REAL tune, stop racing with extra people in your car and run that bitch out to 67-6800! You don't NEED gears, just learn how to use your stock gearing to your advantage. Also, do you have an LS1 intake or LS6? That would be a big limiting factor as well because a cam like the MS4 really starts to shine in the upper R's where the LS1 chokes off and the LS6 starts to shine.
I agree.

Because they are envious, and they want to learn about REAL musclecars.

The real truth? You just can't drive. Just practice and you'll get better
