I can drive the car I just need need more practice with this cam, I think I have only had the cam in for about a month now. You got to remember what I set the pill at isn't what im shifting at, it was a little higher than what I stated. The pill is set to 6200 and I probably shift around 6400, I haven't gotten a chance to get the car back out and change the pill and test it yet.

I do blame myself for needing more practice for sure but now I have to wait till my new shift **** comes in, its to hard to shift when ur shift **** just rotates in circles, I broke it on the first run against this guy. Another question is how am I supposed to use stock gearing to my advantage that just doesn't make much sense especially when texas speed themselves recommend 4.10s in an m6 with this cam?

It takes more experience to race with 4.10's than it does with stock gears simply because you go through gears a lot faster. Just get some more drive time in the seat with the stock gears and wait till its time to upgrade to a bigger rear before you spend money on that area.

Try to keep it in the powerband. In other words don't start races at 3k. Rev it to 67-6800 on shifts. Get to know your car. Daily drive it on nice days and don't be afraid to romp on it when the road is clear. Take it to the track. What was meant by your advantage is simply use them to the best of their ability. Also you won't have to shift quite as fast and while learning a new setup that can be a good thing.

4.10s aren't going to help a ton from a roll (they will help though especially around town and taking off. It will be easier to spin from a stop). Plus that like stated before it will actually be a little harder to drive because the shifts will be coming on pretty damn fast.

I have to admit, for the first thread people did not flame you. They gave helpful advice. Most times the wolves come out to play when someone on here needs racing advice.

Take what these guys say seriously, the 10 or 15 people to post all have the same advice. You can't go wrong there.
