Default 98 SS vs. Solstice GXblah blah

I was sitting at the red light leaving my development tonight and this young kid in a solstice pulls up next to me. I don't know anything about these cars but apparently he thought it was fast, so then he revs at me but then he starts talking **** after I told him I don't street race anymore. So light turns green and we cruise off, then we get through the intersection and he guns it without warning, and I just let him go like I usually do nowadays. Then a few more lights down I pulled up next to him when the light turned green we go through the intersection, and again he guns it after I was pretty much not even paying attention anymore, so this time I laid into it and pulled him by a couple cars and let off and then he goes flying by. Next light, he's laughing and talking all kinda **** again so I told him I let up after I embarrassed him since there was no need to get a ticket racing his matchbox car. He was saying oh this the turbo GX blah blah blah....
Then I said this time when the light turns green we both go at the same time, we did and I pulled on him pretty hard, had him by about 6-7 cars by 100 at which time I let off and hit the brakes since we were in a 55. When we get to the next light he isn't laughing or talking **** anymore, he wouldn't even look over at me to give me props or anything, like his feelings were hurt...

Good kill, I was at the dealership the other day waiting on some parts and some dude was asking for prices on the LS7...I was like what the hell do you need that for? And he said he wanted to put it in his Solstice, then he told me that some shop in California does it for $62k... I didn't say anything else after that.

they're ok looking cars though, supposed to handle really well

I like the Saturn version better, it looks like a mini corvette since the front end isnt so rounded off and gay like the poncho

Nice kill.

One of the magazines put an LS7 into a Solstice (don't remember which one) and it was blowing the doors off of everything, including the C6 Z06, in every category from braking to the road course to the drag strip. It doesn't weigh anything and from personal experience, they do handle amazingly (if you care about that).

I'd rather spend about half as much and put a TT LsX 427 in a 70-73 camaro.

they did that 2 years ago. LS7 Solstice is old news now.
