Default SS Vs Stage 2 Skittle & GSXR 600 (Vid Inside)

I was out and about yesterday. I met some really cool guys. The guy in skittle was cool. We talked about our cars for a while then decided to get a couple runs in.

I also met up with a couple other guys one had a stock LS1 GTO and his buddy was on a 07' GSXR 600. We got a few runs in other then what got caught on tape. It was nearly the same result each time. He would pull me till about 120 or so then I would start gaining and pass him around 140 - 145 every single time. I guess I need more boost! Or maybe some weight reduction. I am full weight down to the spare tire and jack. I also had a full tank of gas during these runs.

Everyone was very cool to talk and hang out with. We are all meeting up and goign to the track next Friday for some legal fun!

Enjoy the video.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I only run the 4.4lbs right now because I am on a stock bottom. I want that to last until this winter when I do my forged 408 build. Then I will be back to turn the boost way up and hopefully just eat 600's and roll with 1000's.

On a side note I blew out my clutch yesterday doing all these races too. The RAM Powergrip HD lasted a good long time but I think I need to go SPEC 5 or a twin disc now.

Well, your always a good option for a camera car! Also, you should go to the track with us this weekend. I wont be running since my car is down for the count now until I get a new clutch in it. But, I will be going to hang out and watch the rest of you guys run.

That will be nasty! But if I were you I would look at tex for a clutch. Great product and a great price.

I'm guessing you also have a cam and/or heads with that low of boost to make that kinda power? Either way...that Neon didn't stand a chance.
