HA Ha Roush 427R OWNED Loud *** white mustang threw me a rev last night so I decided to mess with him a bit. Pulled up along side him and asked him if he thought he was fast, lol.
He replied "Ha! This is a 427R! I will crush your GTO! I have like 500horsepower!"
I replied, "500 huh? Thats decent, too bad I have over 600..."
He replied "Ha! Yea right sure you do!" and rolled his eyes.....
It was on like donkey kong........
I told him to take the hit, he did, and then I proceeded to suck his doors off at lightning speed! He claimed he missed third so we lined up again from a 40 roll, perfect MPH for me to brake boost second gear. Third honk drops and I fire out an instant 2-3 and proceed to put about another 10 or so cars before I shut down. We pulled over after the run and he wouldnt look me in the eye, but he was very upset.
He kept talking about how the dealership told him his car was untouchable and he can't believe how bad I put it on him, I started to feel bad for a moment lol.
Upon looking it up today the 427R runs a 12.2 @ 109mph with 435 horsepower NOT 500 horsepower, unless his was modded already.
Moral of the story, dont be a dick, dick. (Triple X insert)

I was suprised to see what they run with such little power, go roush for making a car with almost 100 less horsepower than the GT500 actually much faster!
If you ever meet up and race Confuzed and those guys let me know Jimmy!

look at the X-Charger then look at the roush same damn size. if you want a real supercharger get a KB, Wipple or Saleen.
I raced a Roush 427 at the track a few weeks ago, and he could not pull below a 12.7 in the 1/4. (he was a crappy driver) I got him with a 12.53 and I am N/A with bolt-ons.
The roush 427 only puts about 380hp to the rear wheels. the tune is very safe to maintain the 3 year warrenty that they offer.
Saleen has an extream that is safe to 500 crank hp. these 4.6 can only handle about 550 crank hp on stock internals.

Both the Roush Supercharger and X-Charger for the 4.0L V6 are the same Eaton Magnuson MP90 unit.
and the most HP you can get with a stock Roush pullied is about 450 crank hp period.
The Kid was totally taken by the dealer. untouchable, HA, no car is untouchable, there will always be someone faster.

Exactly, the Roush charger is too small and was designed for the V6.
look at the X-Charger then look at the roush same damn size. if you want a real supercharger get a KB, Wipple or Saleen.

that is one bad *** goat you have there... are you using a single STS remote turbo or dual turbos? how do you like the turbos" any lag from the remotes?

yes your right for 08, I am looking into the Saleen setup because of the ease of installation for me in my garage. very little wireing changes and I can use my current intake. not a big deal but I just like the inverted roots blower nice setup.

good stuff jimmy, must of been that new clutch allowing your punk *** to shift better. Gotta love the guy with a car the "dealership" told him was so bad *** and would smoke anything. I had told some guys at a dealership my car would kill the z06 in the show room and they were amazed. Felt kinda bad leading them on like that but hey they work at a chevy dealership they should know better.
